6 March – Pan-Hellenic day against school violence and bullying & 2nd school volleyball tournament organised by the Municipality of Katerini

On the occasion of the Pan-Hellenic day against school violence and bullying, the Municipality of Katerini, as a partner of the progect organized today in B’DAK “Theodoros Diamantopoulos”, the 2nd volleyball tournament, which was held with the participation of 50 students from three General High Schools of Katerini (1st, 3rd, 5th).

At the same time, under the guidance of the psychologist Mrs. Eleni Rintou, experiential workshops were implemented.     The greeting of the Mayor of Katerini, Kostas Koukodimos, was conveyed at the beginning of the tournament, by the responsible Deputy Mayor for Planning & Local Development, Stavros Christoforidis, who noted, among other things: “[…] of Katerini, for the great response and participation. I thank the psychologist Mrs. Eleni Ridou, under whose guidance, the experiential workshops will be implemented.     Also, the representative of the Hellenic Volleyball Federation Christos Taschounidis for the cooperation, the special advisor of our Municipality, Maria Ntantami, for the coordination of the event, as well as Savvas Kamanatzis, for his contribution. As a local government we hope to always have the opportunity to organize such actions.
